After record sales in 2021 at Logitech, the online channel had been a tremendous contributor to the source of that growth. The eCommerce function had been put under tremendous pressure to rise to the challenge, causing a significant acceleration of its developmental plans. Under that context, Andre Grüenwald – Global Ecommerce Director at Logitech- had been already looking for 8 months for a Global Marketplace Strategy Lead role to join his team. Someone who could manage the complexity of creating strategy, give guidance and influence the regional teams on how to integrate marketplaces like JD.com, Lazada, Mercado Libre or Walmart into go to market strategy.

Andre did not have the time, and the internal talent team did not have the network to successfully recruit this type of talent. We were able to quickly assess the situation and understand which type of international, senior, digital talent was going to be needed based on Logitech’s E-commerce maturity level. We went to the market and we were able to share their next Global Marketplace Strategy Lead within 21 days.
