Matching

We match each mentee and mentor after conducting a psychometric assessment and 2-hour interview which increases the success rate.

“Across the board, we’re seeing the mentees articulating their ideas with more confidence and speaking up about issues of importance to the organization. There is clearly a greater sense of inclusivity, as people feel that they have a say in evolving the business.”

Thinking about being a mentor?

Be part of LS Elevate Forum

LS Elevate Forum is a transformative event for senior leaders of the consumer industry. An invite-only event where leaders will connect in an unscripted and natural setting.

A celebration of leadership and connection for those leaders who are part of the LS International Network and part of our LS Elevate Mentoring Program.

This Forum is designed to be more than a conference, it is a gathering of leaders who are shaping the consumer industry and a unique opportunity to engage in Peer to peer-to-peer networking at the highest level of the industry.

Overall, this is LS International’s way of showing gratitude to our mentors, clients, and friends; in a way that disrupts the executive talent consulting industry.

How it works

Evaluate Internal Talent

The first step is to assess capability gaps within your organization. LS Elevate mentoring programs uses the power of SuccessFinder to scientifically map out the individual’s capabilities based on 85 behavioral traits and 26 key competencies without hidden agendas or subjective data.

Assessment Session with Consultant

After taking the SuccessFinder assessment, each participant needs fully to understand their own results. In order to do this, each mentee will participate in an individual session with a certified assessment consultant who will help the mentee fully understand their development journey.

Mentor Matching

Once we understand the mentees capabilities and the areas of development which will help them face future challenges, we will be ready to find the appropriate mentor. With LS International’s curated network of C-Suite individuals, organizations can access the best external exposure for their talent in a trustful and secure environment.

Continuous Support

Most mentoring program fail when the matching is done and mentee or mentor do not have the appropriate support when they face challenges or roadblocks. This is why each program has an experienced program manager that will make sure the program runs smoothly.

Desired Results

At the end of the program, each mentee is measured on the goals which have been set out at the start of the program. Their line manager, HR and mentor will play a role in measuring his/her success.

Hear what mentees have to say

Our mentoring program is the best way to elevate internal talent. In this video, Dasha Zharkova shares her experience on how the LS Elevate program impacted her career and gave her the tools she needed to progress.

We are proud to say that thanks to her hard work and our mentoring program she was promoted just 6 months after she started the program.

FAQ's

Most frequent questions and answers

This is a complement to a leadership development program, not a replacement. Think about it this way, in order to continuously develop as a leader, throughout your career you will need to undergo development programs, mentorship programs, capability building programs, industry networks, etc…

The individual will be exposed to different ways of working, a different way to manage and a different way to think. They then bring that breadth of thinking back into the workplace and use it to develop their teams as well as developing capabilities that they will carry through their careers. They will gain insight into the pros and cons of various career options and paths, the opportunity to enhance self esteem and confidence when interacting with senior leaders outside of their organization and the opportunity for objective feedback on their executive presence.

This assessment has an 85% accuracy and every placement which we have used this assessment, the client has been extremely satisfied and 100% of them are still working in the company. We are sharing this as an example to demonstrate how companies can leverage this to get the most out of their employee as they grow within the company.

We will share a report with the assessment results at the beginning of the program, clearly defined outcomes/deliverables, as well as a report at the end of the program updating those deliverables.

We would assess the issue and reassign the mentee a new mentor. With the quarterly check-ins this is very unlikely to happen but it is a possibility and we will solve it so that the mentee is able to get the most out of the experience.

It’s a possibility and we don’t have legal jurisdiction to prevent that. However we will of course speak to all Mentors in advance about this and the negative impact it will have on the overall program. We know if your employee is feeling connected to their organisation, valued and invested in, then the chance of this happening is very remote. We also know that people leave managers, not companies, so it is important that the HR/Talent Director has a conversation with the manager to help them understand their role in this process. The manager will need to be open to allowing the individual to practice new found techniques and tools and ensuring that this mentoring is included in the development plan and they are coaching and pushing the individual to grow and learn.
