Online D2C has experienced exponential growth over the past couple of years. Last year’s events have accelerated this even more, and in 2021 the D2C market is projected to grow by a staggering 19.2%!
2020 was life changing in many aspects, from one day to the next, everything became remote, and consumer behavior changed dramatically. It is within this context that companies are finding new ways to interact with consumers and D2C is entering a new era. A study by Shopify shows that the D2C movement accounts for 40% of the sales growth in the sector.
